Liven World handles personal data with care. This policy explains which data we process through livenworld.nl, why we do so, who we share it with and what rights you have.
Liven World Projects B.V. (Liven World, we) is the controller of the personal data processed through this website.
We only process data you give us yourself, or data needed to run and improve the website. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
If you email us, for example at hello@, partners@ or pers@livenworld.nl, or fill in a contact form such as "Talk to us about your plinth", we process your name, email address, organisation if given, and the content of your message. We use this to answer your question and follow up on a conversation. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or steps prior to entering into an agreement.
Through the forms on the Liven Life and Liven Studio pages we process your name, email address, the role or type of home you choose and the language of the page. We use this to inform you about locations, availability and next steps. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing privacy@livenworld.nl, or through the unsubscribe link in our messages.
If you sign up for updates, we process your email address to send you news about Liven World. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every message.
We use Cal.com for meetings. If you book one, we process your name, email address, organisation if given, the time you choose and anything you add yourself. Legal basis: carrying out your request for a meeting.
If you use the Plinth Configurator at plint.livenworld.nl, we process your answers and the email address we send the PDF to. We use them to create and send the PDF, and to contact you about your project if you ask us to. Legal basis: carrying out your request.
We measure visits with Plausible Analytics. Plausible uses no cookies and does not store IP addresses. It only sees aggregated data, such as which pages are visited, which websites visitors come from and which country they are in. An IP address is only used to recognise a visit within the same day, and becomes untraceable after 24 hours. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website.
Our hosting provider Netlify also records technical data, such as IP address, browser and time of visit, to keep the website secure and available. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
Our fonts are loaded through Google Fonts, and some photos through Unsplash. Google and Unsplash receive your IP address, because your browser fetches these files directly from them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a readable, fast website.
Our site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and our partners' sites. Those websites are covered by the privacy policy of whoever runs them.
Where the law requires us to keep data longer, for example for tax purposes, we keep it for that purpose only.
We only share data with parties that help us run the website and our services, and only as far as needed:
Parties that process data on our behalf are bound by data processing agreements. Beyond that, we only share data where the law requires us to.
Netlify, Cal.com and Google are based in the United States. They take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which provide an adequate level of protection. For Canada, where Unsplash is based, the European Commission has found the level of protection adequate.
Livenworld.nl places no tracking or advertising cookies, and our visitor statistics work without cookies. You can read more in our cookie policy.
We make no decisions about you that are taken solely by a computer, and we do not build visitor profiles.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), limited access to data and careful selection of suppliers.
Our website is not intended for children under 16. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us.
